We take great pride in our school. We have high expectations for academic excellence, personal growth and behavior. These expectations are reflected in the many accomplishments of our children and staff, including being recognized by the Florida Department of Education with an A grade for five years in a row.

The over 800 students of Dream Lake are our major concern. With a staff of 65 dedicated instructional staff members, we are committed to meeting the individual needs of each child. We offer a wide range of intervention and enrichment programs in reading. We also provide extensive opportunities for our large population of children with special needs to be included throughout the school day. Our children participate in a full range of programs including art, music, physical education and media.

We are deeply committed to working in partnership with our parents and community. Cooperative efforts such as our Mentor, ADDitions, and Partners in Education programs demonstrate the unified efforts of the school and community in providing the best possible education for the children we serve. We also have a very active and supportive Parent Leadership Council, School Advisory Committee and Parent Teacher Association. These organizations provide our parents numerous opportunities to participate and support our children and teachers.
